My name is Natasha Blanchard, and I'm so happy you're here.

First and foremost, I am a farm wife, a stay-at-home mom, and the proud mother of three wonderful children. Together with my husband, Lucas, we've built a life centered around faith, family, hard work, and a deep appreciation for nature.

We live on our Canadian farm where our days are spent caring for our sheep, goats, horses, miniature horses, chickens, and ducks. We grow food in our gardens, cultivate herbs and plants, and spend countless hours harvesting wildflowers and botanicals from nature. Our children are growing up alongside us, learning practical life skills through gardening, caring for animals, preserving food, and respecting the natural world. We believe childhood should be filled with fresh air, meaningful work, creativity, and a deep appreciation for God's creation.

Together, Lucas and I are the proud owners of Solar Infused Oils Incorporated, a family-owned Canadian business built on our shared passion for traditional craftsmanship, botanical education, and supporting local artisans.

My journey began in Banja Luka, Bosnia, where I was born and raised. Growing up surrounded by a culture that valued family, resilience, and living close to the land gave me an appreciation for traditional knowledge from an early age. Life eventually brought me to Canada, where I met my husband, Lucas. Together, we've built a beautiful family, a farm we love, and a business that reflects the values we live by every day.

Originally, I pursued a career in Social Work because I wanted to help people. Although I valued my education and the opportunity to serve others, I soon realized that my heart was leading me in a different direction.

I felt called to help people reconnect with nature, become more self-reliant, and discover the joy of caring for themselves and their families through gardening, traditional skills, wholesome living, and botanical knowledge.

That calling led me to further my education in botanical studies, where I deepened my understanding of herbs, plants, and traditional botanical preparations. The more I learned, the more I realized that slowing down and working with nature can be deeply rewarding.

From that passion, Solar Infused Oils Incorporated was born.

Everything we create reflects the values we live every day on our farm: patience, honesty, craftsmanship, and respect for nature. Over time, our vision has grown far beyond handcrafted botanical products.

Today, Solar Infused Oils Incorporated is also a proudly Canadian handmade artisan marketplace, supporting talented makers, authors, educators, and small businesses from coast to coast. We are passionate about preserving traditional knowledge through educational workshops, books, botanical resources, and creative learning experiences that inspire people to embrace natural living, lifelong learning, and handmade craftsmanship.

Our mission is simple:

Crafting became her way to slow down, quiet her mind, and find peace through the process of making something beautiful.

Life brought both blessings and challenges. Kristi married young, raised three children, and later faced the difficult journey of becoming a single mother. Determined to provide for her family, she turned the talents she had developed over a lifetime into a way of earning extra income. What began as creating handmade items for family, friends, and local customers gradually grew into a business built on quality craftsmanship, creativity, and perseverance.

Today, her children are grown, her granddaughter is nearly grown, and her love for creating remains as strong as ever. Crafting continues to be her creative outlet—a way to relieve stress, stay centered, and experience the joy that comes from transforming simple materials into beautiful, functional pieces that others can enjoy.

Behind Love Stitched is Milena, a talented artisan whose creativity, resilience, and dedication to quality are woven into every piece she creates. From stylish personal accessories and beautiful home décor to thoughtful gifts and charming pet accessories, every item is handcrafted with exceptional attention to detail.

Milena's journey is as inspiring as the products she creates. Born and raised on a small homestead in Croatia, then part of the former Yugoslavia, she grew up surrounded by strong family values and a tradition of handmade craftsmanship. Creating with her hands wasn't simply a hobby—it was a way of life. Inspired by those early experiences, Milena pursued her passion by attending textile school, graduating in 1991 after three years of study with dreams of building a future in sewing and design.

Shortly after graduation, civil war broke out in her homeland, forever changing the course of her life. Seeking safety and new opportunities, Milena and her family first settled in Sweden before eventually making Canada their home.

Years later, she rediscovered her love for sewing and began creating once again. What started as a personal creative outlet blossomed into Love Stitched, a business she has proudly nurtured for more than 13 years.

Today, Milena lives in Edmonton, Alberta, with her husband, their son, and their spirited four-year-old German Shepherd, who believes he's part of every family adventure. When she isn't sewing, Milena enjoys knitting and crocheting, continuing a tradition of creativity that has been passed down through generations of women in her family.

After spending 17 years as a stay-at-home mom, Candy chose to pursue her passion for creating while remaining present for her family, managing life on the farm, and supporting her children's busy schedules. Outside of dentistry, Maria discovered another lifelong passion—creating handcrafted chocolate made with honest, high-quality ingredients. Wanting to enjoy delicious chocolate without unnecessary artificial ingredients, she began experimenting in her kitchen over six years ago. Through patience, dedication, and countless recipe refinements, she developed the handcrafted recipes that Bee Sweet Chocolates is proudly known for today.

Each chocolate is made from scratch using premium ingredients, featuring rich dark chocolate naturally sweetened with honey and paired with carefully selected nuts, freeze-dried fruits, premium spices, and other thoughtfully chosen ingredients.
